Job Title: VIP Steward

Location: kakinada

Department:Food & Beverage / Catering Services

Reporting To:Unit Manager / F&B Supervisor

Job Purpose:To deliver exceptional, personalized service to VIP guests, ensuring a premium dining experience aligned with company standards of hospitality and client expectations.

  • Key Responsibilities:Service ExcellenceProvide high-quality, courteous, and personalized service to VIP guests.
  • Ensure proper table setting, presentation, and ambiance as per VIP standards.
  • Serve food and beverages with attention to detail and etiquette.
  • Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly.
  • Guest HandlingBuild and maintain professional rapport with VIP clients and guests.
  • Handle special requests, dietary needs, and preferences efficiently.
  • Address guest concerns immediately and escalate when required.
  • Operational DutiesEnsure mise-en-place is completed before service.
  • Coordinate with kitchen and service teams for smooth operations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of service areas as per company and statutory norms.
  • Follow SOPs for VIP service protocols.
  • Presentation & GroomingMaintain impeccable grooming and uniform standards at all times.
  • Exhibit professional body language, communication, and etiquette.
  • Compliance & SafetyAdhere to food safety, hygiene, and safety standards.
  • Ensure proper handling of service equipment and materials.
  • Key Skills & Competencies:Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Knowledge of fine dining etiquette and service standards
  • Ability to work under pressure with a calm demeanor
  • Attention to detail and presentation
  • Qualifications & Experience:Minimum 10th / 12th pass (Hotel Management preferred)
  • 2–5 years of experience in hospitality / premium service / VIP handling
  • Experience in corporate catering / hotels / executive dining preferred
  • Additional Requirements:Flexibility to work in shifts
  • Polite, well-spoken, and presentable personality
  • Basic knowledge of English (spoken)
  • KPIs (Performance Indicators):Guest satisfaction scores / feedback
  • Service quality and adherence to SOPs
  • Grooming and discipline standards
  • Response time to guest requests
