Senior Accounts Officer

Post: Senior Accounts officer for a FMCG co at Coimbatore

Location: Othakalmandapam,Coimbatore

Key Responsibilities:

General Accounting

Manage day-to-day accounting operations including ledger scrutiny, journal entries, bank reconciliation, and accounts finalization.

Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions in compliance with accounting standards.

Handle AP/AR accounting, vendor reconciliation, and customer outstanding follow-ups.

Monitor GRN, goods movement, and inventory accounting (FMCG preferred).

Prepare and maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.

SAP & Reporting

Post transactions and generate reports in SAP (FI Module).

Ensure accuracy of SAP entries and assist in month-end / year-end closing activities.

Prepare MIS reports, P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash-flow statements.

Coordinate with internal teams for resolving SAP-related discrepancies.

Compliance & Audit

Assist in statutory compliance such as GST, TDS, PF/ESI (if required).

Support internal and external audit processes with timely submission of data.

Ensure adherence to company financial policies and regulatory guidelines.

Requirements:

B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent.

Minimum 5 years of experience in general accounting, preferably in FMCG or manufacturing industry.

Strong working knowledge of SAP .

Proficiency in MS Excel

Salary:Maximum gross up to 40 K PM
