Accountant

The Accountant will be responsible for managing and maintaining all financial records, ensuring accuracy in billing, purchases, sales, and stock valuation related to jewellery items. The role involves handling day-to-day accounting operations, GST compliance, inventory accounting, and preparing financial reports to support management decisions.

Accounting & Bookkeeping

• Maintain day-to-day accounting records using Tally/ERP or similar accounting software.
• Record sales, purchases, receipts, and payments accurately.
• Manage petty cash and daily cash reconciliation.
• Handle customer invoices, credit notes, and receipts.

Taxation & Compliance

• Prepare and file GST returns, TDS, and other statutory compliance reports.
• Maintain proper records of purchase and sales invoices with tax bifurcation.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws related to jewellery and precious metals.

Banking & Finance

• Handle bank reconciliations and monitor daily deposits/withdrawals.
• Process vendor and supplier payments.

Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare monthly profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.

Audit Support

• Ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting records for audit purposes.
