Logistics Executive

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced International Logistics Manager to oversee our global pharmaceutical trading operations. The successful candidate will manage end-to-end supply chain logistics, including international freight (Air/Sea), customs brokerage. You will be responsible to ensure that every shipment reaches its destination on time, in perfect condition, and in full compliance with international pharmaceutical regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Global Shipping & Freight Management: Strategically plan and manage international outbound shipments, negotiating competitive rates with sea and air freight carriers.
• Regulatory & Customs Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with local and international laws, including Customs Border Protection (CBP) and specific pharmaceutical standards like Good Distribution Practices (GDP).
• Vendor & Service Provider Management: Develop and maintain relationships with freight forwarders, customs house agents, and Third-Party Logistics (3PL) providers.
• Cost Optimization: Identify opportunities for cost reduction in the supply chain, such as optimizing container yields and managing budgeted air-to-sea ratios.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in international logistics, specifically within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• On-Time In-Full (OTIF) Delivery: Percentage of orders delivered by the promised date and in correct quantities.
• Logistics Cost as % of Sales: Efficiency of the logistics budget relative to company revenue.
• Customs Clearance Time: Average time taken to clear goods through various international ports.
