Logistics Executive

Logistics Executive will be responsible for managing the efficient movement, storage, and delivery of goods across the retail supply chain. This role ensures that inventory is available at the right place, at the right time, and at optimal cost to support smooth retail operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inbound & Outbound Logistics: Coordinate transportation of goods from suppliers to warehouses/stores and ensure timely dispatch to retail outlets.
• Warehouse Coordination: Oversee storage, material handling, and distribution processes in alignment with company policies.
• Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, reconcile discrepancies, and ensure accurate inventory records.
• Vendor & Transport Management: Liaise with vendors, freight forwarders, and transport agencies to ensure cost-effective and timely deliveries.
• Order Fulfillment: Ensure customer/store orders are processed, packed, and shipped within agreed timelines.
• Documentation & Compliance: Manage shipping documents, invoices, GRNs, and ensure compliance with statutory regulations.
• Cost Optimization: Track logistics expenses, negotiate rates with service providers, and control operational costs.
• Coordination with Internal Teams: Work closely with procurement, merchandising, and store operations teams to align supply chain activities.
• Reporting & Analysis: Prepare regular MIS reports on logistics performance, delays, and cost savings opportunities.
• Problem Solving: Handle logistics-related escalations and resolve issues related to damage, shortage, or delays.
