Job Description
- Plan and execute procurement strategies for FMCG products (food, beverages, personal care, household, etc.)
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and distributors
- Ensure cost control, margin improvement, and competitive pricing
- Monitor inventory levels to avoid stock-outs or overstocking
- Coordinate with sales, warehouse, finance, and logistics teams
- Analyze market trends, demand forecasts, and consumption patterns
- Ensure timely purchase orders, deliveries, and payment cycles
- Maintain supplier performance metrics (quality, lead time, pricing)
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal, and food safety standards
- Handle vendor disputes and resolve supply issues proactively
