Job Description

The Estimator & Construction Project Support Coordinator will assist in the preparation of estimates, quantity take-offs, construction programmes, project methodologies, and budgets.

The role also supports subcontractor coordination, tender preparation, and project documentation while working closely with the project management team.

This is a key support role helping ensure projects are accurately priced, properly planned, and efficiently delivered.


Key Responsibilities: Estimating & Quantity Surveying

• Perform quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications

• Assist with preparation of project estimates and cost plans

• Compile tender submissions and pricing schedules

• Review drawings to identify scope, risks, and missing information

• Prepare bill of quantities (BOQ) where required Project Planning & Documentation

• Develop construction programmes using MS Project

• Assist with project methodologies and work sequencing

• Prepare project documentation and reporting templates

• Maintain project files and tender documentation Budgeting & Quoting

• Assist in preparing project budgets and cost breakdowns

• Prepare client quotes and pricing proposals

• Track cost inputs including labour, plant, materials, and subcontractors Subcontractor Coordination

• Assist with subcontractor sourcing and comparison

• Prepare RFQs and scope packages

• Review subcontractor quotations and compile comparisons Systems & Compliance

• Assist in maintaining and developing the Integrated Management System (IMS) including: o Quality o Safety o Environmental documentation

• Support preparation of SWMS, methodologies, and project procedures Required Skills & Software Candidates must be proficient in:

• Bluebeam Revu (for quantity take-offs and markups)

• Microsoft Excel (advanced spreadsheet capability preferred)

• Microsoft Project (construction programmes and scheduling)

• Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)

• AutoCAD (basic ability to review and measure drawings) Preferred Experience

• Experience in demolition, civil works, earthworks, or concrete construction

• Background in estimating, quantity surveying, or construction engineering

• Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and civil drawings

• Experience working with tender documentation

• Strong understanding of construction methodologies
