Role Overview

We are looking for a Python Developer to strengthen our analytics, automation, and research capabilities. You will work closely with traders and analysts to build tools that automate manual workflows, audit trades and orders, backtest strategies, and generate actionable insights from trading data. This is a hands-on role where your work directly impacts live trading decisions and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop Python scripts and tools for backtesting and strategy performance analysis.
• Automate daily and weekly reports, including P&L, order flow, margin utilization, and exceptions.
• Build utilities to audit trades and orders, reconciling internal logs with exchange reports.
• Create dashboards or visualizations to monitor strategy performance and latency metrics.
• Maintain, clean, and manage large market and trade datasets.
• Identify repetitive manual tasks and implement automation to eliminate them.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of hands-on experience with Python (strong with pandas, numpy, datetime handling).
• Comfortable with SQL and data processing on Linux.
• Strong analytical mindset; attention to detail in data validation and reconciliation.
• Ability to write clean, well-documented, and reusable code.
• Exposure to financial data or trading environments is a plus, but not mandatory.

Good-to-Have

• Experience with data visualization (matplotlib, plotly, seaborn, or Streamlit).
• Familiarity with REST APIs or automation frameworks.
• Understanding of order/trade logs, market microstructure, or execution flow.
• Interest in quantitative finance, algorithmic trading, or real-time systems.
