Solar Technician

We are looking for a Solar Engineer to lead the design, development, manufacturing, and execution of Array Junction Boxes (AJB) and Module Junction Boxes (MJB) for solar power systems. The candidate will be responsible for product design, production planning, quality control, and technical compliance.

The role requires a combination of electrical engineering knowledge and manufacturing experience in solar components.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Design & Development

• Design and develop Array Junction Boxes (AJB) which includes ACDB and DCDB and Module Junction Boxes (MJB)

• Prepare electrical schematics and wiring diagrams

• Select components like:

• DC isolators

• Fuses

• MC4 connectors

• Surge Protection Devices (SPD)

• Busbars

• Terminal blocks

• Ensure compliance with solar standards:

• IEC Standards

• MNRE guidelines

• BIS certifications

• Develop new AJB/MJB models based on project requirements

• Prepare technical drawings and BOM (Bill of Materials)

2. Manufacturing & Production

• Set up and supervise assembly line for AJB and MJB. (ACDB & DCDB)

• Define standard operating procedures (SOPs)

• Monitor production quality

• Optimize manufacturing cost

• Coordinate with vendors for raw materials

• Improve product design for mass manufacturing

3. Testing & Quality Control

• Conduct testing including:

• Continuity testing

• Insulation resistance testing

• Polarity testing

• IP protection testing

• Load testing

• Ensure product reliability and safety

• Maintain testing documentation

• Implement quality standards

• 2–6 years experience in:

• Solar industry

• AJB/MJB manufacturing

• Solar electrical design
