Job Description

Position Overview

We are seeking a Technical Support Engineer with B.Tech background to provide technical generalist support for simple to medium-level issues. You will support US customers over phone calls and resolve various technical problems quickly.


Key Responsibilities


Customer Support

  • Handle technical support calls from US customers
  • Provide technical generalist support across multiple areas
  • OS troubleshooting for Windows systems and software issues
  • Non-OS networking troubleshooting (internet connectivity, WiFi setup, basic network issues)
  • Guide customers through solutions step by step
  • Understand customer problems clearly and provide effective solutions

Technical Problem Solving

  • Figure out technical issues quickly using logical thinking
  • Research solutions and test them before sharing with customers
  • Document common problems and their solutions
  • Handle various types of technical requests as a generalist

Requirements

  • B.Tech in Engineering (any branch)
  • Excellent spoken and written American English - must communicate clearly
  • Ability to speak and understand American English fluently for US customers
  • Good at figuring things out and solving problems quickly
  • Basic knowledge of computers, software, and common technical issues
  • Comfortable working as a technical generalist across different areas
  • QuickBooks and Intuit products knowledge is a very strong plus
