Job Description

Job Title: Tender Manager

Location: Panchkula

Department: Tendering / Sales Support / Business Development

Salary: 30000-50000

Reporting to: Head – Sales & Marketing / Managing Director

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: B.Tech / Diploma in Electrical/Electronic or Graduate in any discipline with technical background.

• Experience: 6–12 years of relevant experience in tendering, bid management, or sales coordination (preferably in electrical industry).

• Strong knowledge of HT/LT Panels, VCBs, EHV, switchgear, and electrical control systems.

• Proven experience in handling online and offline tenders on government portals (e.g., GeM, Central Public Procurement Portal (CPPP), IREPS eProcurement).

• Experience in leading tender teams and managing high-value technical & commercial bids.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Tender Manager to lead and manage the complete tendering and bidding process for electrical projects. The ideal candidate will oversee evaluation, costing, documentation, and timely submission of technical and commercial bids while ensuring compliance with customer and government tender requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and evaluate tender documents including BOQs, technical specifications, commercial terms, and drawings received from Govt./PSUs/Private clients.

• Coordinate with internal departments (design, procurement, finance, projects, contracts) to gather technical and commercial inputs for tenders.

• Prepare and finalize pre-qualification documents, technical proposals, price bids, deviation statements, and costing sheets.

• Monitor tender websites/portals (e-tendering) daily for new tender opportunities and updates.

• Maintain tender tracker/database, manage submission records, and update management on tender pipeline and status.

• Ensure full compliance with tender documentation, bid formats, and government procurement regulations.

• Lead tender clarifications, pre-bid meetings, and site visits while updating proposal documents accordingly.

• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing, delivery terms, and technical inputs for bid costing.

• Guide and support tender executives in documentation, portal uploads, and bid submission activities.

• Support leadership in bid evaluations, risk assessment, costing strategies, and tender negotiations.
