Transport Manager

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Transport Manager to handle overall transport operations, ensure smooth logistics, timely dispatch, and cost control.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily transport operations and planning
• Handle vehicle scheduling, routing & dispatch
• Cost control 
• Ensure compliance with safety and legal regulations
• Manage transport vendors and logistics partners
• Ensure timely deliveries and minimize delays
• Prepare MIS reports and daily updates

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of transport & logistics operations
• Good leadership and team handling skills
• Experience in cost control and route optimization
• Basic computer knowledge (Excel, MIS reporting)

Preferred: Candidates from retail / manufacturing / distribution background with local area knowledge.
