Job Description
- Assist in daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating as per standards.
- Follow recipes, portion sizes, and presentation guidelines to maintain consistency.
- Perform mise-en-place: chopping, cutting, cleaning, marinating, and ingredient preparation.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organization of the workstation at all times.
- Support senior chefs and follow instructions during service and prep.
- Handle ingredients properly, ensuring correct storage, labeling, and rotation (FIFO).
- Operate kitchen tools and equipment safely and ensure proper upkeep.
- Assist in receiving, checking, and storing supplies.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service.
- Continuously learn and upgrade culinary skills under the guidance of senior chefs.
