Job Summary:

The Data Entry Operator is responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining data in company systems and records. The role requires attention to detail, speed, and confidentiality while handling large volumes of information.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enter data accurately into computer systems, ERP, or spreadsheets
• Update and maintain databases, records, and files
• Verify data for accuracy and completeness
• Prepare reports, summaries, and basic MIS as required
• Maintain physical and digital records systematically
• Handle confidential information with integrity
• Coordinate with other departments for data clarification
• Perform basic office support tasks as assigned

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Good typing speed with high accuracy
• Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word)
• Familiarity with data entry software or ERP systems
• Attention to detail and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Basic communication skills

Educational Qualifications:

• Minimum: 10+2 / Graduate preferred
• Computer course certification is an advantage

Experience:

• Fresher or 1–2 years of experience in data entry or clerical work
