Site & Shop Floor Maintenance Engineer

📝 Key Responsibilities🔹 Site Maintenance & Work PermitUnderstand and implement the Work Permit System at site.Ensure complete safety compliance — PPE usage, barricading, height work safety, and site housekeeping.Monitor daily site activities and prepare reports.

🔹 Erection, Fabrication & MaintenanceStrong knowledge of industrial fabrication, erection, alignment, and fitting.Handle maintenance activities of mechanical equipment, structures, supports, ducts, etc.Basic understanding of material handling, cutting, welding (Arc/MIG), and grinding.

🔹 Shop Floor Fabrication PlanningPrepare cutting lists, material planning, and job allocation as per fabrication drawings.Plan fabrication progress, manpower utilization, and machine usage.Verify measurements and perform quality checks.

🔹 Vendor & Manpower ManagementCoordinate with vendors for material follow-up, job completion, and billing verification.Supervise manpower such as welders, fitters, helpers, and allocate work accordingly.Maintain daily progress reports and ensure schedule adherence.

🔹 Technical Skills (Must Have)Industrial / Mechanical Engineering knowledgeDrawing Reading (Mandatory) — fabrication drawings, GA, isometric, structural drawingsBasic AutoCAD knowledge
