Packing Supervisor

We are looking for Packing Supervisor for chemical industry at Taloja location.

Qualification:  Graduate B.sc, B.com, B.A (preferred) (Not D pharma, B Pharma)

·         Experience: Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in chemical packaging or manufacturing.

Position Overview:

The Packing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and controlling all packing operations across all three shifts for solid and liquid chemical finished goods. This role involves supervising Packing Assistants and workers to ensure safe, efficient, and quality-driven packing in accordance with company procedures and production plans.

Key Responsibilities:

· Strong leadership and supervisory skills.

· Supervise and coordinate shift-wise packing activities for solid and liquid chemical finished products.

· Ensure all packing operations are carried out as per SOPs, batch packing records, and safety guidelines.

· Allocate manpower effectively across shifts and monitor daily performance of Packing Assistants and workers.

· Ensure completion of packing targets as per the daily and monthly production schedule.

· Maintain discipline, housekeeping, and cross-contamination control in the packing area.

· Verify correct labeling, sealing, batch number, and documentation before dispatch or transfer.

· Monitor and ensure the proper use of PPEs and adherence to all safety and 5S norms.

· Control material wastage and packing losses through regular checks and awareness among team members.

· Conduct training, skill development, and on-job guidance for packing staff.

· Report daily packing performance, deviations, and incidents to the Factory Manager/Production Head.

· Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and safety standards.

Salary : 30000 CTC
