Purchase Executive

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Purchase Executive to manage procurement activities, ensure timely delivery of materials, and maintain strong vendor relationships. The ideal candidate will have experience in sourcing, negotiating, and maintaining purchase records while ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  Identify reliable suppliers and obtain quotations for required materials and services.

  Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with vendors.

  Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely approval and processing.

  Follow up on orders to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any issues with vendors.

  Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information.

  Coordinate with the warehouse, accounts, and other departments regarding material needs and delivery status.

  Monitor inventory levels and reorder stock as necessary.

  Evaluate supplier performance and develop long-term vendor relationships.

  Ensure all purchases comply with company policies and quality standards.

  Assist in cost control and budgeting efforts related to procurement.

Qualifications and Skills:

  Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.

  1–3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.

  Strong negotiation and communication skills.

  Good knowledge of procurement processes and market trends.

  Proficient in MS Office and ERP or inventory management software.

  Attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management.

  Ability to work independently and handle pressure in a fast-paced environment.
