Job Description

The Quality Coordinator / Assistant Management Representative is responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) at company’s workshops. This role ensures compliance with applicable standards (API Q1, ISO 9001) and customer requirements, coordinates audits, drives corrective actions, and promotes a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement across all functions. 

Key Responsibilities:

1.      Quality Management System (QMS)

 

·      Prepare, update, and maintain QMS documents, including Quality Manual, Procedures, Work Instructions (WI), Forms, and Records, ensuring adherence to applicable standards.

·      Communicate and train relevant personnel on QMS requirements and updates.

Execute risk assessments, contingency plans, and recovery plans to maintain quality performance.

·      Ensure promotion of customer requirement awareness throughout the organization. 

1.      Audits and Reviews

 

·      Conduct internal audits as per the annual audit plan and follow up on corrective actions.

·      Coordinate API and customer audits and ensure effective closure of audit findings.

·      Conduct and coordinate Management Review Meetings (MRM) for OSSI workshops.

·      Monitor NDE and other special process validations as directed by the Operations Manager. 

3     Supplier and Material Quality

 

·      Evaluate and audit new vendors/subcontractors and perform periodic reviews of approved suppliers. 

Verify and ensure correct documents/reports are received with the purchased materials

Review purchase orders and engineering drawings prior to release for manufacturing and servicing

4.     Corrective and Preventive Actions

·      Respond to product defects or complaints raised internally or by customers/API.

·      Initiate Corrective Actions and ensure effective closure of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).

·      Maintain CAPA documentation and ensure records are properly disposed of or archived. 

5     Reporting and Coordination

·      Report QMS performance, KPIs, and any need for improvement to the Operations Manager and Regional Management Representative (Lead) via monthly reporting. Identify and provide required resources, including equipment, standards, and information. 

·      Ensure implementation of quality, safety, and environmental practices across the workshop.
