Tax Consultant

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented professional to manage and support a range of tax and accounting responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Indian taxation laws and accounting practices, and be capable of independently handling the following tasks:

Key Responsibilities:

• Income Tax Return Filing:
• Prepare and file income tax returns for individuals, firms, and companies in compliance with applicable laws.
• GST Return Filing:
• Prepare and file monthly/quarterly/annual GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.), ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
• Tax Audit:
• Assist in conducting tax audits under section 44AB of the Income Tax Act, including preparation of reports and required documentation.
• Finalization of Books of Accounts:
• Finalize accounts for individuals, proprietorships, firms, and companies, including ledger scrutiny and year-end adjustments.
• Responding to Notices:
• Draft and submit replies to notices received under Income Tax and GST laws (e.g., scrutiny, assessment, demand, refund notices).
• GST Refunds:
• Prepare documentation and process GST refund applications, including follow-ups with the GST department as necessary.
• Accounting Support:
• Provide general accounting support and assist in day-to-day bookkeeping as required.

Key Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of Indian taxation laws (Income Tax, GST)
• Experience with tax compliance and audit processes
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally
• Ability to interpret and apply tax laws and regulations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
