Senior Mechanical Executive Engineer

Job Overview: MSEA Pharmaceuticals is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Machine Maintenance Engineer to ensure the smooth operation, maintenance, and reliability of manufacturing equipment. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of hands-on experience, preferably in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment, with strong technical expertise in machinery maintenance and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of pharmaceutical manufacturing machinery
• Ensure minimal downtime by quick diagnosis and resolution of equipment issues
• Maintain and monitor critical equipment such as granulation, compression, coating, filling, and packaging machines
• Execute and document maintenance activities in compliance with GMP standards
• Coordinate with production and quality teams to ensure uninterrupted operations
• Maintain records of maintenance logs, calibration, and equipment history
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory guidelines
• Assist in installation, commissioning, and validation of new machinery
• Identify areas for process improvement and cost optimization.
• Lead, supervise, and manage a team of maintenance technicians and operators
• Allocate daily tasks and ensure timely completion of maintenance activities
• Train and guide team members on machine handling, troubleshooting, and safety practices
• Monitor team performance and ensure adherence to SOPs and GMP standards
• Foster a proactive maintenance culture to minimize downtime and improve efficiency 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Diploma/B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering field
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in machine maintenance
• Preferably from pharmaceutical manufacturing units
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical components, and automation
• Familiarity with GMP, SOPs, and regulatory compliance
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in handling tablet, capsule, or liquid manufacturing lines
• Exposure to HVAC systems and utilities (compressors, boilers, etc.)
• Knowledge of PLC systems and basic automation
