Retail Pharmacist

Position: Retail Pharmacist

Location: Bihar (Arrah, Buxar, Rajendra Nagar and Danapur)

Department: Pharmacy / Retail

Employment Type: Full-time

Bihar PCI Certificate is mandatory

Key Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
• Review and interpret prescriptions to ensure correctness and authenticity.
• Counsel customers on medication usage, dosage, and possible side effects.
• Manage pharmacy inventory, stock levels, and ensure availability of medicines.
• Ensure compliance with drug laws, regulatory guidelines, and pharmacy standards.
• Assist customers with OTC (over-the-counter) medicines and health queries.
• Maintain proper storage, check expiry dates, and ensure cleanliness of the pharmacy.
• Handle billing and maintain daily sales records.
• Coordinate with doctors, vendors, and internal teams.
• Ensure patient safety and prevent medication errors.

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma or Degree in Pharmacy (D.Pharm / B.Pharm).
• Bihar PCI Certificate is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of medicines, dosage forms, and drug interactions.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Prior experience in retail pharmacy is an added advantage.
