Job Title: Accountant

Location: Patna

Experience: 3 to 8 Years

Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per month (Based on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9) on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis.

Handle TDS computation, deduction, deposit, and return filing (24Q, 26Q).

Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and deadlines.

Maintain books of accounts using accounting software (e.g., Tally ERP).

Prepare and analyze financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss statements.

Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and GST credit.

Assist in internal and external audits.

Monitor day-to-day accounting operations including billing, invoicing, and expense tracking.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance.

Strong working knowledge of Tally ERP, MS Excel, and accounting principles.

Good understanding of Indian Taxation Laws – GST, TDS, and Income Tax.

Hands-on experience in GST filings and TDS return preparation.

Attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with e-filing portals (GST, TRACES, Income Tax).

Knowledge of other statutory compliance (PF, ESI, PT) is a plus.

Good communication and documentation skills
