Accountant

The Accountant is responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the company’s financial reporting processes. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.

• Accounting & Record KeepingMaintain general ledger accounts, journal entries, and supporting documentation.
• Prepare and reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly.
• Ensure accuracy of financial data and compliance with accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS).
• Accounts Payable & ReceivableProcess vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, and payments.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Reconcile AP/AR statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Banking & ReconciliationPrepare monthly bank reconciliations.
• Monitor cash balances and transactions.
• Financial ReportingAssist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Provide financial analysis and reports as requested by management.
• Compliance & AuditEnsure compliance with company policies, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
