Area Sales Manager

The Area Sales Manager will lead a team of Medical Representatives to achieve business objectives in the assigned territory. The role involves driving sales growth, team performance, and market expansion while ensuring adherence to company standards and ethics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales and collection targets for the assigned area.
• Recruit, train, and motivate Medical Representatives (MRs) to achieve individual and team goals.
• Develop and implement territory-wise business plans to ensure consistent growth.
• Monitor field activities, ensure effective doctor and chemist coverage, and support team members through joint fieldwork.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key doctors, stockists, and distributors.
• Track market trends, competitor activities, and provide regular feedback to management.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, reporting discipline, and ethical promotion practices.

Requirements:

• Graduate in Science / Pharmacy / Life Sciences / Commerce (MBA preferred).
• 3–6 years of pharma sales experience, including at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
• Proven ability to achieve targets and build high-performing teams.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
