Job Description

Role OverviewThe Area Sales Manager (ASM) will be responsible for driving business growth within an assigned territory by acquiring and managing diagnostic partners, franchisees, and distributors. The role requires strong field execution, team handling, and revenue generation capabilities.

  • Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & SalesIdentify and onboard new diagnostic partners, franchisees, and channel partners within the assigned area
  • Drive end-to-end sales cycle — lead generation, pitching, negotiation, and closure
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales and revenue targets
  • Territory ManagementPlan and execute territory mapping to identify high-potential markets
  • Conduct regular field visits, meetings, and presentations
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends
  • Team ManagementManage, guide, and motivate a team of Territory Managers / Sales Executives
  • Set targets, track performance, and ensure productivity
  • Conduct regular training and performance reviews
  • Partner Relationship ManagementBuild and maintain strong relationships with onboarded partners
  • Ensure partner satisfaction, retention, and repeat business
  • Act as a key point of contact for escalations and support
  • Operational CoordinationCoordinate with operations, logistics, and marketing teams for smooth partner onboarding and activation
  • Maintain accurate sales data, reports, and CRM updates
  • Qualifications & ExperienceGraduate in any discipline; MBA in Sales/Marketing preferred
  • 4–8 years of experience in B2B sales, channel sales, or franchise development
  • Prior experience in diagnostics, pharma, healthcare, or FMCG is preferred
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing teams
