Business Development Manager ā C&I Rooftop Solarš Location: Patna, Bihar
š¢ Company: MN Energy and Infra Pvt. Ltd.
š± Industry: Renewable Energy ā Rooftop Solar (Commercial & Industrial)
š§ Experience Required: 5ā8 years (C&I solar / electrical / EPC / B2B energy solutions preferred)
š Reporting To: Regional Head / Company Director
- Key ResponsibilitiesDrive business development and revenue growth in the Commercial & Industrial (C&I) rooftop solar segment
- Identify, develop, and close high-value B2B opportunities including factories, warehouses, hospitals, educational institutions, malls, and corporate offices
- Manage the complete sales cycle: lead generation, technical-commercial discussions, proposals, negotiations, and closures
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporates, developers, consultants, architects, and channel partners
- Identify and onboard strategic partners, EPC collaborators, and influencers in the C&I ecosystem
- Coordinate closely with engineering, procurement, and project execution teams to ensure feasibility, timelines, and quality delivery
- Track market trends, competitor activities, and evolving MNRE / state solar policies
- Prepare and present business forecasts, MIS reports, and pipeline updates to management
- Support pricing strategy, margin optimization, and contract finalization for C&I projects
- RequirementsBachelorās degree in Engineering, Business, or Management (MBA preferred)
- 5ā8 years of proven experience in C&I solar / EPC / power / energy solutions / B2B sales
- Strong understanding of C&I rooftop solar project economics, CAPEX/OPEX models, and PPA structures
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Good knowledge of Bihar market dynamics, industrial clusters, and regulatory framework
- Proficiency in MS Excel, CRM tools, and reporting systems
- Ability to work independently and drive closures in a target-driven environment
