Educational Counsellor

Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Student Counselor to join our team. As a Student Counselor, your primary responsibility will be to engage with students and provide them with guidance and support throughout their educational journey.

Responsibilities:

Engage with prospective students to understand their educational goals and aspirations.

Provide detailed information about the courses and programs offered by the institution, highlighting the features and benefits.

Act as a point of contact for students, addressing their queries and concerns via phone calls, emails, or in-person meetings.

Assist students in making informed decisions about their educational choices based on their interests, skills, and career goals.

Conduct individual counseling sessions to assess student needs and offer personalized guidance and support.

Collaborate with faculty and other staff members to ensure seamless communication and coordination.

Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the education sector to provide accurate and relevant information to students.

Maintain comprehensive records of student interactions, inquiries, and outcomes.

Assist in organizing and conducting workshops, seminars, and events to promote educational opportunities.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in any relevant field.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Strong persuasion and negotiation skills to effectively convince students about the course features and benefits.

Ability to handle student queries and concerns with empathy and professionalism.

Proficient in computer operations and Microsoft Office suite.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Highly motivated and target-oriented.

Knowledge of the education system and admission processes.

Previous counseling or customer service experience is a plus.
