Field Service Engineer

Position Summary - As a Service Engineer, you will be the frontline technical expert responsible for the end-to-end maintenance and repair of Atlas Copco air compressors. You will manage everything from initial diagnostics to final testing, ensuring all equipment operates at peak efficiency while strictly adhering to safety protocols and manufacturer standards.

• Key Responsibilities
• Diagnostics & Repair: Conduct thorough diagnostic tests to identify root causes of equipment issues and perform repairs according to manufacturer guidelines.
• Preventive Maintenance: Execute routine service tasks and replace faulty components using only genuine Atlas Copco spare parts to ensure long-term reliability.
• Calibration & Testing: Calibrate components to specified tolerances and conduct performance tests post-repair to verify the problem is resolved and the unit is operating efficiently.
• Safety & Compliance: Maintain a zero-incident safety record by wearing required PPE and ensuring all machinery is powered off and depressurized before servicing.
• Customer Relations: Provide clear communication regarding work performed, offer guidance on optimal machine operation, and conduct follow-up checks to ensure continued performance.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate service histories, record all parts used and adjustments made, and submit detailed service reports within 24 hours of job completion.
• Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns to minimize customer downtime.
• Qualifications & Skills

Technical Expertise: Strong background in mechanical or electrical engineering, specifically with air compressor systems.
