Role OverviewSpeckarts is looking for a skilled and customer-focused Optometrist who can provide accurate eye testing, recommend the right eyewear solutions, and deliver an excellent customer experience in our stores.

Key Responsibilities1. Eye Examination

• Conduct accurate vision tests and refraction using optometry equipment.
• Identify vision problems such as myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism, and presbyopia.
• Provide correct prescription for spectacles and contact lenses.

2. Customer Consultation

• Guide customers in selecting the right lenses and frames according to their prescription and lifestyle.
• Explain lens types such as Blue Cut, Progressive, Anti-glare, etc.
• Educate customers about eye care and lens maintenance.

3. Product Recommendation

• Recommend suitable frames, lenses, and coatings.
• Support store team in converting eye tests into eyewear sales.

4. Store Support

• Maintain eye testing equipment and hygiene standards.
• Ensure accurate prescription records in the system/CRM.
• Support the team during promotions, camps, and store activities.

5. Customer Service

• Handle customer queries regarding vision, lenses, and eyewear.
• Provide after-sales support and adjustments if required.
• Required QualificationsDiploma / Bachelor in Optometry (D.Optom / B.Optom)
• Freshers or experienced candidates can apply.
• Required SkillsGood communication and customer handling skills
• Strong refraction and eye testing knowledge
• Basic understanding of spectacle lenses and contact lenses
• Ability to work in a retail environment
