Job Description
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development
- Identify and onboard B2B customers such as wholesalers, distributors, kirana stores, grocery chains, hostels, dhabas, gyms, and institutional buyers.
- Promote our brands Sattu products with clear pricing, quality, and margin communication.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets in volume and value.
- Develop bulk sales orders (25 kg, 50 kg, 100 kg and above).
Market Expansion & Channel Management
- Appoint and manage distributors and sub-distributors in assigned areas.
- Ensure product availability and visibility at retail and wholesale points.
- Conduct regular market visits to understand competitor pricing and schemes.
Relationship Management
- Build long-term relationships with traders and bulk buyers.
- Handle negotiations on pricing, credit limits (if applicable), and delivery schedules.
- Resolve customer complaints related to supply, quality, or billing.
- Reporting & Coordination
- Maintain daily sales visit reports and order tracking.
- Coordinate with logistics and accounts teams for smooth dispatch and payment collection.
- Share market feedback to improve pricing, packaging, and schemes.
Key Skills & Requirements
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in FMCG / food products / agro-products B2B sales.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Knowledge of local wholesale markets and distribution networks is a plus.
- Ability to work independently in the field.
- Basic understanding of billing, margins, and payment cycles.
- Two-wheeler required; smartphone mandatory.
- Preferred Candidates Experience in flour, atta, sattu, pulses, spices, or FMCG bulk sales.
- Existing contacts with wholesalers or distributors.
- Candidates from local market background.
