Job Description

Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development

  • Identify and onboard B2B customers such as wholesalers, distributors, kirana stores, grocery chains, hostels, dhabas, gyms, and institutional buyers.
  • Promote our brands Sattu products with clear pricing, quality, and margin communication.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets in volume and value.
  • Develop bulk sales orders (25 kg, 50 kg, 100 kg and above).

Market Expansion & Channel Management

  • Appoint and manage distributors and sub-distributors in assigned areas.
  • Ensure product availability and visibility at retail and wholesale points.
  • Conduct regular market visits to understand competitor pricing and schemes.

Relationship Management

  • Build long-term relationships with traders and bulk buyers.
  • Handle negotiations on pricing, credit limits (if applicable), and delivery schedules.
  • Resolve customer complaints related to supply, quality, or billing.
  • Reporting & Coordination
  • Maintain daily sales visit reports and order tracking.
  • Coordinate with logistics and accounts teams for smooth dispatch and payment collection.
  • Share market feedback to improve pricing, packaging, and schemes.

Key Skills & Requirements

  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience in FMCG / food products / agro-products B2B sales.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of local wholesale markets and distribution networks is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently in the field.
  • Basic understanding of billing, margins, and payment cycles.
  • Two-wheeler required; smartphone mandatory.
  • Preferred Candidates Experience in flour, atta, sattu, pulses, spices, or FMCG bulk sales.
  • Existing contacts with wholesalers or distributors.
  • Candidates from local market background.
