Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Customer Handling

  • Attend walk‑in customers and assist in product selection.
  • Handle customer queries and maintain good customer relationships.
  • Ensure smooth sales transactions and maintain high service standards.

2. Billing & Payment Management

  • Prepare bills using computer‑based billing software.
  • Handle cash, UPI, and other modes of payment.
  • Maintain daily cash register and ensure accuracy.

3. Lead Generation & Customer Follow‑Up

  • Identify and generate new leads from walk‑ins, enquiries, and outbound calling.
  • Follow up with customers for orders, payments, and deliveries.
  • Maintain a customer database for future sales opportunities.
  • Actively promote products/services to increase sales conversion

4. Stock & Inventory Management

  • Maintain stock records and update inward/outward movement.
  • Conduct regular stock checks to avoid shortages.
  • Coordinate with vendors/suppliers if required.

5. Follow‑Up & Customer Coordination

  • Make follow-up calls to customers for orders, payments, and deliveries.
  • Maintain proper communication to ensure timely closures.

6. Banking & Documentation

  • Handle daily banking tasks such as deposits, withdrawals, cheque submission, etc.
  • Maintain supporting documents related to transactions.

7. Coordination with Management/Liaison with Director/Manager to avoid communication gaps.

  • Provide daily reporting on sales, stock, and collections.

Skills Required

  • Basic knowledge of computers (MS Excel, email, billing software).
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic math skills for billing and cash handling.
  • Ability to multitask and work responsibly.

QualificationMinimum 12th pass

  • Graduate preferred but not mandatory
