Job Description:

We are seeking skilled and dedicated Service Engineers to provide top-notch maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting for JCB machines such as Excavators, Backhoe Loaders, Compactors, and Wheel Loaders. This role requires hands-on technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform on-site and workshop-based maintenance and repairs for JCB machines.
Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, transmission and electrical issues and provide effective solutions.
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.
Respond promptly to customer service requests and minimize machine downtime.
Complete a detailed Service Visit Report after every job, ensuring all work performed, findings, and resolutions are documented effectively.
Collect customer feedback post-service to ensure satisfaction.
Collaborate with the parts department to ensure timely availability of required components.
Educate customers on machine care and basic troubleshooting techniques.
Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
Provide feedback to the Service Manager on recurring issues to improve service processes.
Stay updated on the latest JCB products, technology, and service techniques.

Requirements:

Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in servicing heavy equipment or commercial/construction equipment.
Good knowledge of diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, transmission and electrical systems.
Strong technical knowledge of JCB machines or construction equipment is highly desirable.
A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the region as required, carrying necessary tools.
Good knowledge about Jharkhand region is a plus.
Ability to communicate effectively in technical and commercial terms.
