Accountant

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant with 1–2 years of experience to manage day-to-day accounting tasks. The candidate should have a good understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and computer-based financial systems.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Maintain day-to-day accounts and financial records accurately.
• Handle data entry of purchase, sales, expenses, and journal entries.
• Prepare and reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts.
• Assist in preparation of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance reports.
• Support monthly and yearly closing processes.
• Prepare invoices, credit/debit notes, and maintain supporting documentation.
• Coordinate with internal departments for payments and approvals.
• Manage petty cash and ensure timely accounting of all transactions.
• Maintain filing and documentation for audits and compliance.
• Assist senior accountant or management in preparing financial reports.

Skills Required:

• Knowledge of Tally ERP / Excel / Accounting software.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Basic understanding of taxation and accounting standards.
• Salary: As per industry standardsPreferred Candidate Profile:Graduate in Commerce (B.Com / M.Com).
• 1–2 years of experience in accounting or related field.
• Hands-on experience with Tally or similar accounting tools.
