Job Description
- Key Roles & Responsibilities:Maintain books of accounts including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations
- Prepare and verify invoices, bills, vouchers, and payment entries
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, including follow-ups
- Perform bank, cash, and vendor reconciliations on a regular basis
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of accounts
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory requirements
- Prepare and file GST returns, TDS returns, and assist in assessments
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and tax authorities
- Maintain proper documentation and records for audit and compliance
- Support budgeting, cost tracking, and MIS reporting
- Liaise with banks for routine banking operations and documentation
- Required Skills & Competencies:Sound knowledge of accounting principles and statutory compliance
- Proficiency in Tally / ERP systems and MS Excel
- Attention to detail with strong analytical skills
- Good communication and coordination abilities
- Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks
