Billing Engineer

Dear Candidate,

We have an urgent requirement of QS & Billing Engineer in our Pune based office.

• Position: Quantity Surveyor & Estimation - Civil
• Location: Pune (Wakad)
• Job Description:-
• Review of tender BOQ received from Consultant for Civil works, work out quantities based on tender & in line with standard BOQ. Post QS work release the BOQ for procurement
• Responsible for the estimation and costing of Civil works packages
• Estimation/taking of quantities based on Good for construction drawings and releasing the revised BOQ for amendments
• Corresponding with Consultants/Authorities regarding the specification/technical and BOQ any difference to tender requirements and raise queries for clarification prior to releasing the same for contract requisition.
• Requesting quotations from vendors as needed for specialized work for costing & estimation purpose.
• Perform the technical and commercial review for the offers received from the vendors
• Reviewing BOQ and technical specifications with Client specs and providing comments
• Checking/validating vendors bills received from various sites with measurement sheets & terms of contract and post validation submitting the same to Client for payment process.
• In case of clarification on bills & invoices, raising the queries to site team for clarifications & inputs
• Verification of works through site visits as needed
• Assisting on cost feasibility for Project requirements
• Maintain all QS documents and logs / registers applicable
• Benchmarking, cost estimation, and cost planning
• Dealing effectively with post-contract cost variances and the change control processes, where applicable referring major changes to line manager
• Taking personal responsibility for making cost checks and carrying out valuations on larger projects and in all cases ensuring that timely and accurate cost checking and valuation takes place
• Coordinate with clients SPOC and understand their requirements and accordingly seek clarifications & act on deliverables related to QS.
• Assisting team lead in preparation of various reports related to quantity surveying & billing assignment

• Note: The role is a traditional Quantity Surveyor role, applicants should have experience in Commercial as well as industrial projects and with consultant & Contractor company background.
