Job description

The Design Engineer designs specialized valves using computer‑aided design and drafting (CAD) tools to meet customer requirements and collaborates as needed to create detailed drawings, assembly drawings, 3Dmodels, and bills of materials (BOM).

The candidate should have knowledge and experience in the design and development of valves, including Trunnion‑mounted ball valves and Floating ball valves.

Responsibilities

Develops preliminary design concepts.

Prepares Design 3D models, 2D drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and all design-related documentation or reports.

Checking of detail component drawing with GD&T.

Knowledge of Industry standard API, ASME, ASTM, BS, EN, PED Directive etc.

Design modifications to comply with customer or project specifications

Skills, Experience, and knowledge

§     Product knowledge and skills

§     CAD software knowledge (AutoCAD, 3D Modelling – Creo)

§     Knowledge of component design and analysis techniques and utilization of best Engineering practices.

§     Knowledge of the manufacturing process will be added advantage

Education Experience

§     B.E., / B.Tech., / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

§     Experience of 4-5 years in the Valve Design & development
