Job Description

1. Bid Identification

• Regularly monitor GEM Portal, E-Procurement portals, Mahatender, and other relevant platforms.

• Identify suitable bid opportunities aligned with company products and services.

• Evaluate eligibility criteria and ensure qualification compliance. 2. Tender Analysis

• Thoroughly analyze tender documents including technical specifications, commercial terms, and compliance requirements.

• Conduct feasibility assessment and risk analysis before submission.

• Prepare summary notes for management review. 3. Internal Coordination

• Coordinate with Sales, Technical, Operations, Finance, and Logistics teams for required inputs.

• Ensure timely collection of technical data, certifications, pricing inputs, and statutory documents.

• Arrange and participate in pre-bid meetings if required. 4. Bid Preparation

• Prepare complete technical and commercial bid documentation.

• Compile and verify required documents (EMD, PBG, certificates, compliance statements, declarations, etc.).

• Ensure accurate and timely online submission of tenders. 5. Proposal Writing

• Draft clear and structured technical proposals aligned with tender requirements.

• Customize proposals to highlight company strengths, product quality, and compliance.

• Ensure professional presentation and documentation standards. 6. Pricing Strategy

• Work closely with management and finance team to develop competitive pricing strategies.

• Analyze competitor trends and market benchmarks.

• Prepare commercial bid sheets and cost calculations.

7. Tender Tracking

• Maintain a tender database and tracker for submitted, ongoing, and upcoming bids.

• Monitor tender status and update management regularly.

• Keep record of submission deadlines and compliance timelines. 8. Post-Tender Activities

• Follow up for bid results and clarifications.

• Prepare comparative statements.

• Coordinate for order processing and contract documentation upon award.

• Support execution team with contract compliance requirements. Required Skills and Competencies :

• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

• Good understanding of B2B sales processes.

• Technical aptitude to understand gas applications and customer requirements.

• Ability to work independently and achieve targets.

• Willingness to travel within assigned territory.

• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools. Preferred Candidate Profile :

• 2–4 years of experience in Industrial Gases / Chemical / Manufacturing / B2B sales.

• Technical qualification (B.Sc./B.Tech./Diploma) with MBA in Marketing & Sales preferred.

• Strong local market knowledge and industry contacts will be an added advantage.
