Job Description

1. Role Overview The Field Sales Executive is responsible for generating new business, managing client relationships, and driving revenue growth through on-ground sales activities. The role includes prospecting, conducting client visits, presenting solutions, negotiating deals, and closing orders for the company’s manufacturing and engineering services.

  • 2. Key Responsibilities A. New Business Development Identify and generate leads through field visits, cold calling, LinkedIn outreach, industrial area visits, and references.
  • Conduct market research to identify prospective clients in manufacturing, automotive, medical devices, plastics, prototyping, tooling, and related sectors.
  • Visit customer sites to understand requirements for injection molding, VMC machining, vacuum casting, 3D printing, mold making, etc.
  • B. Sales Conversions & Revenue Growth Conduct product/service presentations and capability demonstrations to prospective customers.
  • Understand customer technical requirements and coordinate with internal engineering/production teams for feasibility and costing.
  • Prepare and submit quotations, negotiate pricing, and close sales orders to meet monthly targets.
  • Follow up on quotations, samples, and trial orders until conversion.
  • C. Client Relationship Management Maintain strong relationships with existing customers; ensure repeat orders.
  • Ensure timely resolution of customer issues by coordinating with production, dispatch, and quality teams.
  • Visit customers regularly to build a stable long-term business pipeline.
  • D. Reporting & Documentation Maintain daily reporting of visits, enquiries generated, quotations submitted, and follow-up status.
  • Update CRM/Excel reports for sales funnel, target vs achievement, and customer feedback.
  • Submit weekly and monthly sales performance reports to management.
  • E. Coordination Work closely with costing, design, and production departments for technical clarifications.
  • Coordinate with logistics and dispatch teams to ensure timely delivery and after-sales support.
  • 3. Required Skills & Competencies Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Good negotiation and closing ability.
  • Ability to understand basic technical drawings / components (training can be provided).
  • Strong customer relationship-building approach.
  • Self-motivated with a target-oriented mindset.
  • Knowledge of Pune/Maharashtra industrial belts is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with MS Office, Excel, WhatsApp Business, and CRM tools.
