Job Description

Job Title: HVAC Sales / Techno-Commercial Engineer (MEP) – IT InfrastructureJob SummaryWe are looking for an experienced HVAC Sales / Techno-Commercial Engineer to support our IT Infrastructure business by managing HVAC-related sales, estimation, design coordination, and project execution support. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of HVAC/MEP systems, excellent communication skills, and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in sales and techno-commercial activities.

  • Key Roles & Responsibilities1) Design & EngineeringPerform HVAC heat load calculations and support equipment selection.
  • Prepare, review, and coordinate HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing drawings including:

  • General Arrangement (GA)
  • Schematic drawings
  • Shop drawings
  • Ensure compliance with applicable standards such as IS Codes, NBC, ASHRAE, and local authority requirements.
  • Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, and other service teams for smooth MEP integration.
  • 2) Estimation, Budgeting & CostingPrepare BOQs, cost estimates, and project budgets for HVAC and MEP works.
  • Conduct rate analysis, vendor comparisons, and value engineering to optimize cost.
  • Monitor project budgets and provide cost-saving recommendations.
  • Support billing, variation claims, and final cost reconciliation.
  • 3) Sales & Business SupportSupport pre-sales activities including technical presentations, client discussions, and site visits.
  • Understand client requirements and provide suitable techno-commercial HVAC solutions.
  • Prepare quotations, tenders, RFQs, and proposals with accurate technical and commercial details.
  • Coordinate with vendors for pricing, specifications, and lead times.
  • Assist in negotiation, finalization of orders, and closure of commercial terms.
  • 4) Execution & CoordinationProvide technical support to site teams during execution and project delivery.
  • Review shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documentation.
  • Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion.
  • Attend client meetings, resolve technical queries, and support project handover requirements.
  • Required Skills & CompetenciesStrong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, MEP coordination, and estimation practices.
  • Hands-on experience in heat load calculations, BOQ preparation, and project costing.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, HVAC design tools, MS Excel, and related documentation.
  • Strong understanding of tendering, commercial negotiation, and proposal preparation.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong client-handling ability.
  • Qualifications & ExperienceMinimum 5 years of experience in HVAC sales / techno-commercial / estimation roles.
  • Proven experience in handling client requirements and supporting sales closures.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and MEP project coordination.
