Junior Interior Designer

Job Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Junior Interior Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will support senior designers in executing interior design projects from concept through completion. This includes both office-based design work and active involvement at project sites to ensure seamless execution.

• Key Responsibilities:Design & Planning:Assist in developing design concepts, mood boards, presentations, and layouts.
• Prepare AutoCAD drawings, 2D/3D views, and material specifications.
• Support in selection of materials, furnishings, and finishes.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for product samples, pricing, and availability.
• Participate in design discussions, client meetings, and internal reviews.
• Site Coordination:Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure adherence to design.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and execution teams for on-site implementation.
• Assist in resolving design or technical issues on site.
• Maintain documentation of site activities, changes, and material usage.
• Take site measurements and document existing conditions when required.
• Documentation & Support:Maintain project documentation including design revisions, BOQs, and client approvals.
• Prepare site reports, snag lists, and follow-ups on pending site issues.
• Ensure quality checks as per approved design and materials.
• Collaborate with the project manager to ensure timely execution.
• Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Interior Design or related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in interior design, preferably in turnkey/commercial/residential projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, MS Office, and basic rendering tools (Photoshop, Lumion, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail, design sensibility, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel to sites and work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Work Environment:Split between office work and on-site presence depending on project requirements.
• Occasional extended hours may be required based on site deadlines or client meetings.
