Job Summary:

The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day production and operational activities, ensuring smooth workflow, timely project execution, and adherence to quality, cost, and delivery targets. The role involves coordination between multiple departments such as Production, Purchase, Store, and Quality to optimize efficiency and meet organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, organize, and supervise daily manufacturing operations to meet production targets.

Monitor production schedules, manpower utilization, and equipment efficiency.

Coordinate with the Design, Purchase, and Quality teams for project execution and issue resolution.

Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards across all operations.

Implement and monitor process improvements for cost reduction and productivity enhancement.

Manage inventory levels, raw material planning, and dispatch coordination.

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports for management review.

Train and guide the operations team for skill development and performance improvement.

Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed to minimize downtime.

Support management in planning resources, budgeting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production planning.

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (preferred).

Knowledge of lean manufacturing, 5S, and process optimization.

Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities.
