Job Description

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Dispense prescription medications accurately and in accordance with physician orders
  • Review prescriptions for appropriateness, drug interactions, allergies, and contraindications
  • Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, storage, and adherence
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
  • Maintain accurate patient records and pharmacy documentation
  • Manage inventory, including ordering, storage, and disposal of medications
  • Stay current with new medications, therapies, and best practices
