Job Title: Production Manager – Engineering FabricationJob SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee and manage fabrication operations within our engineering manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling production processes to ensure products are manufactured safely, on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.

• Key ResponsibilitiesPlan, organize, and manage daily fabrication and production operations
• Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer delivery deadlines
• Monitor workflow, capacity planning, and resource allocation (manpower, machinery, materials)
• Ensure compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards
• Oversee welding, machining, cutting, forming, assembly, and finishing processes
• Implement and maintain quality systems in line with standards such as ISO 9001
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies like Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma
• Monitor and control production costs, waste reduction, and efficiency improvements
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Lead, mentor, and develop production supervisors and shop floor teams
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Quality, and Maintenance departments
• Review KPIs such as productivity, OEE, rejection rates, and on-time delivery
• Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
• 5–10 years of experience in fabrication or heavy engineering manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of fabrication processes (welding, CNC machining, sheet metal, structural steel, etc.)
• Experience in production planning and inventory control
• Understanding of quality management systems and safety standards
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor in mechanical/Production Engineering
• Experience working in ISO-certified manufacturing environments
• Knowledge of welding standards and codes (e.g., AWS, ASME where applicable)
