Purchase Engineer

Job Summary -

We are hiring a Purchase Engineer responsible for RFQ handling, vendor coordination, price negotiation, follow-ups, and RFQ closure. The role focuses purely on purchase activities and vendor management.

Key Responsibilities -

• Receive, prepare, and manage RFQs from internal teams
• Identify and coordinate with vendors for quotations
• Close RFQs and hand over finalized details to PO team
• Follow up with vendors on quotations, revisions, and confirmations
• Maintain RFQ trackers, vendor pricing records, and purchase reports
• Develop and manage vendor relationships for cost and timeline efficiency

Requirements -

• Diploma/ Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 2 years experience in purchase
• Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills
• Good negotiation and follow-up abilities
