Quality Engineer

Alpha Dies and Pattern India, is a 25+ old organisation which serves the foundry industry

We manufacture toolings for foundries such as Coreboxes, Pattern sets, Automation fixtures [ https://alphafoundrytooling.com/ ]

Our Engineering Department -- Quality Cell consists of a team of 4 members. We are looking for a new Qualtiy Engineer who can take care of CMM Checking & reporting Part of the tool manufacturing.

The main job responsibilities will be -

- Learn and master how to use FARO CMM Machine used for probing and inspection of jobs in Tool manufacturing

- Understand concepts of GD&T and requirement for Quality in parts

- Supervise physical material movement of jobs from Machining department to Quality area and proceed for inspection of the tools

- Use FARO CMM Machine to do inspection work

- Create PDF Reports of each tool which consists of filtering the inspection data points on a software and reviewing it with team before proceeding to make PDF Report

- Email communication with Customer regarding reports of completed tools

Please note report making is a tedious job requiring good hands on the computer and high concentration.

There is good engineering and manufacturing learning to be had in this job

Work Timings --

9 am to 7 pm

Thursdays are weekly off

Sundays are working

There might a few times when the candidate might have to extend duty beyond normal working hours of 7pm to help in completing dispatch work.
