Job Description
- Lead the complete quality function including incoming, in-process, final inspection, customer quality, and supplier quality.
- Implement and maintain automotive quality systems as per IATF 16949 and ISO 9001.
- Ensure robust quality control across CNC, VMC, and turning machining processes to meet customer specifications.
- Drive implementation of automotive core tools such as Advanced Product Quality Planning, Production Part Approval Process, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, and Statistical Process Control.
- Manage customer complaints and lead structured problem solving using 8D Problem Solving.
- Monitor key quality metrics such as PPM, rejection rate, COPQ, and process capability (Cp/Cpk).
- Lead customer audits, certification audits, and internal quality audits.
- Develop and mentor the quality team while promoting a strong culture of continuous improvement and zero-defect manufacturing.
