Sales Associate – Dry Fruits Retail Store

Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Associate for our dry fruits retail store. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring excellent customer service, promoting products, and maintaining the overall efficiency of the store.

Key Responsibilities

1. Customer Service:

• Greet customers and assist them in selecting products based on their needs and preferences.

• Provide detailed information about the products, including nutritional benefits and usage tips.

• Address customer queries and resolve complaints professionally.

2. Sales and Promotion:

• Upsell and cross-sell products to meet sales targets.

• Promote special offers, discounts, and new products.

• Suggest complementary products to enhance customer satisfaction.

3. Inventory Management:

• Keep track of stock levels and inform the manager of replenishment needs.

• Ensure products are displayed attractively and organized on shelves.

• Check for expiration dates and ensure product freshness.

4. Cash Handling and Billing:

• Operate the cash register and handle payment transactions accurately.

• Generate invoices and provide receipts to customers.

5. Store Maintenance:

• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained within the store.

• Arrange and replenish products regularly for optimal presentation.

• Assist in opening and closing duties of the store.

Requirements

• Experience: Previous experience in retail or food-related sales is preferred.

• Skills:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Basic math and cash-handling ability.

• Ability to upsell and recommend products.

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

• Other:

• Passion for healthy eating and knowledge of dry fruits is an advantage.

• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
