Job Description – Sales Manager (SM)Organization:

Location: As per branch allocation

Experience Required: 3–5 Years

CTC Range: ₹4–5 LPA

Industry: Banking / Financial Services

Role OverviewThe Sales Manager (SM) will be responsible for driving branch-level business growth across liability and asset products. The role includes leading the sales team, achieving monthly targets, ensuring portfolio quality, and maintaining strong customer relationships while adhering to compliance and operational standards.

  • Key Responsibilities1. Business Development & Target AchievementDrive sales for CASA, Gold Loan, PLBL, LAP, HL, FD, RD and other liability products.
  • Achieve monthly and annual business targets assigned by management.
  • Develop local market strategies to increase customer acquisition.
  • Ensure cross-selling of products to existing customers.
  • Monitor daily productivity of BDOs and sales staff.
  • 2. Team ManagementLead, motivate, and monitor the performance of Business Development Officers (BDOs).
  • Conduct daily sales meetings and review target achievement.
  • Provide on-ground support for lead conversion.
  • Identify training needs and coach team members for performance improvement.
  • 3. Portfolio & Risk ManagementEnsure quality sourcing as per company guidelines.
  • Maintain healthy loan portfolio and control delinquency.
  • Coordinate with credit and operations team for smooth processing.
  • Ensure proper documentation and compliance adherence.
  • 4. Customer Relationship ManagementDevelop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and business partners.
  • Handle customer escalations professionally.
  • Build referral network through connectors, DSAs, and local influencers.
  • 5. Administrative & Operational ResponsibilitiesEnsure proper KYC and documentation process.
  • Maintain branch discipline and reporting standards.
  • Submit daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
  • Coordinate with HR for recruitment support at branch level.
  • Key Skills RequiredStrong knowledge of CASA, Gold Loan, PLBL, LAP, HL products.
  • Leadership and team handling ability.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Target-driven and result-oriented approach.
  • Market awareness and local area knowledge.
