Job Description

Key Responsibilities 

Sales Development & Lead Generation 

  • Identify and reach out to potential clients through cold calling, networking, industry events, and referrals. 
  • Conduct market research to understand local business needs and identify new sales opportunities in the packaging sector. 
  • Qualify leads and prioritize high-potential prospects for conversion into paying customers. 

Client Relationship Management 

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and customer retention. 
  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase our packaging solutions. 
  • Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions that align with their business objectives. 
  • Perform regular follow-ups with clients to address concerns, provide support, and nurture ongoing relationships. 

Sales Execution & Closing 

  • Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with prospects to reach mutually beneficial agreements. 
  • Prepare and deliver accurate quotations and proposals. 
  • Successfully close sales deals and meet or exceed monthly sales quotas and revenue targets. 
  • Manage the sales pipeline, tracking progress from lead to conversion. 

Territory & Account Management 

  • Manage assigned sales territory effectively to maximize market coverage and sales opportunities. 
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of all client interactions, sales progress, and customer data. 
  • Update and maintain CRM systems with current information on leads, prospects, and client status. 
  • Ensure timely collection of outstanding payments and maintain transaction records. 

Reporting & Coordination 

  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports including forecasts, pipeline status, and performance metrics. 
  • Provide feedback to management on market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback. 
  • Collaborate with the production and operations team to ensure product quality, timely delivery, and customer satisfaction. 
  • Participate in sales meetings and training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques. 

Administrative Tasks 

  • Travel extensively within your assigned territory (expect 40-50% travel time). 
  • Submit expense reports and travel documentation in a timely manner. 
  • Maintain professional presentation and conduct at all times.
