Job Description
- Job Responsibilities: Saree Salesman
- Greet customers politely and understand their saree requirements (occasion, budget, fabric, colour).
- Show sarees confidently and explain details like fabric, work, zari, and price.
- Help customers select matching blouses, dupattas, or accessories.
- Maintain neat display and proper folding of sarees.
- Handle billing support and coordinate with the cashier when required.
- Keep track of customer preferences and inform them about offers or new arrivals.
- Take care of stock handling and report low or fast-moving items to the manager.
- Ensure a pleasant shopping experience for every customer.
- Required Skills & Qualities:
- Basic knowledge of sarees (silk, cotton, Paithani, Banarasi, etc.).
- Good communication skills in Marathi/Hindi (English is a plus).
- Polite, patient, and customer-friendly attitude.
- Willingness to learn new designs and collections.
- Prior retail or saree sales experience preferred (not mandatory).
